River Dance

What made The River Dance so popular? Was it the new exciting version of Irish dance or was it the man who invited it? The River Dance was first performed at the 1994 Eurovision Song contest. After it was performed the audience loved it and gave it a standing ovation. They enjoyed it so much that later that year the BBC commissioned for it to be performed again at the Royal Variety Show. After that the river dance went through out Europe touring, getting more hype and more success. Then it went into the untied states conquering even more popularity. The river dance is one of the most popular dances and is know through out the entire world.
